Design
Designer
Design product, not deliverables: own UX and UI across live client platforms, from flows and journeys to a design system engineers actually use.
The role
You'll be the design owner across our client products — currently centred on a live behavioural-science platform — and for the planning work our delivery ladder produces (user journeys, key flows, and the UI/UX design clients commit budgets against). You'll work directly with founders and engineers, your designs will be in production within weeks, and you'll feel the feedback loop most designers never get: real users, real usage data, weekly shipping.
Role details
What you'll do
- Own product design end to end: research questions, flows, wireframes, high-fidelity UI, and handoff
- Design the user journeys and key flows for Planning Sprint engagements — work clients sign build contracts on
- Build and maintain a design system engineers can consume without guessing
- Pressure-test scope with the delivery team: the best design is often the smaller feature done properly
- Level up the visual quality bar across everything we ship, including our own site and materials
What you bring
- 3+ years designing shipped software products (a portfolio of live work, not just concepts)
- Strong in both UX thinking and UI craft — you can defend a flow decision and kern a heading
- Expert Figma: components, variables, prototyping, and files other people can work in
- Comfort working directly with engineers and writing your reasoning down
- Pragmatism about constraints: weekly shipping means designing for the build that exists
Nice to have
- Experience designing AI-powered product experiences (chat, coaching, assistants)
- Motion design sensibility — purposeful, not decorative
- Experience in early-stage or agency environments where you owned design alone
You'll work with
What you get
The deal, plainly
Senior-led delivery: your work is reviewed by people who've shipped production systems, and you see how they think
An AI-native workflow — modern AI tooling is standard practice here, with human review as the quality bar
Real products in production: client work that ships weekly and gets used, not internal demos
Async-first, writing-heavy culture on IST, with deliberate US/EU overlap instead of late-night calls
Competitive compensation, reviewed on outcomes
